Freshman Connection 2024

Is your student a rising 9th grader attending Independence in the fall? If so, we encourage you to register them for the Freshman Connection program. Freshman Connection gives students an experience at Independence that will help them be successful come August.

 

Each session is 2 weeks long, and we will take field trips, have a kickball tournament, school tours/competitions, involvement opportunities and tips and tricks to begin your year successfully. This will be a fun experience that will make the transition to our great school even better! The program runs Monday-Thursday. No Fridays, and we will not hold the program the week of July 4th. Option 1 is June 24th-July 11th (no program July 1st-4th) or Option 2 is July 15th-25th. The time is from 9:00am-2:00pm.
