    The International Baccalaureate Organization

We hold high expectations for academic performance and character development for each student in a safe, caring environment that embraces cultural diversity. We will do this by implementing the International Baccalaureate Program (PYP) and thereby empowering our students to become critical, independent thinkers with the skills to be active participants in an ever-changing global society.

We work to develop learners’ confidence and ability to seek solutions to the challenges of an ever-changing global society.

The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

    Our Beliefs

    We believe that:

    • Every student has value as an individual with special interests and the ability to learn and experience success.

    • Students thrive when they experience success every day.

    • All students should be active and responsible participants in their own learning.

    • Students learn best in a classroom environment that focuses on inquiry-based instruction.

    • Every child is a unique individual with potential for growth.

    • Students learn best in an environment in which they feel safe.

    • Our parent and community connections assist us with developing children who will be actively engaged in learning about issues of global significance.
