Greetings Oakdale families,

On behalf of the administrative team and the entire Oakdale staff, we would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year where students will be ELEVATED towards academic greatness.

I am very excited to begin my second full year as the proud principal of Oakdale Elementary. My goal this year is to NAVIGATE a clear mission for our students “To PROFICIENCY and Beyond.” I am devoted to assuring students are provided rigorous instruction, are supported with their social emotional needs and supplied with an abundance of support from our teachers and staff along with a strong collaboration from our community partners. I will continue to brand our school across the city of Charlotte as being one of the best elementary schools in the district.

At Oakdale we know “The Sky is the Limit” therefore our mission will have a strong focus on academic success and building lasting relationships with all stakeholders. At Oakdale Elementary, we will continue to welcome ALL parents, families and volunteers into the building. Our students need support through Reading Buddies, Lunch Buddies, Mentorships and Extra-curriculum coaches. Please sign up to be an Oakdale volunteer through the CMS website. We need YOU!
