The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Retired School Personnel Association (CMRSP) is an organization of retired school personnel whose purpose is to promote the professional, social, and economic welfare of retired personnel. It is an organization whose membership is made up of retirees from active service with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
CMRSP not only provides fellowship with retired colleagues but also takes an active role in the local community, working through local and district organizations to achieve mutual legislative and political action goals.

Welcome to another year!
Where did the summer and it’s heat go? If you don’t want it back, my feelings will not be hurt!
We have a letter of resignation from our secretary, Darnell Ivory, so if anyone wants to exercise and practice their note-taking skills let me know before our first general meeting.
It’s that time again when we kick off a new year with membership as our main goal. Our purpose statement is BBC Build Back Charlotte, and we can accomplish this, one member at a times, if we do as the song say by putting our “backs into it”.
I try not to brag, but we use to be a force to be reckoned with here in Mecklenburg and guys it’s all about numbers. If you have friends or colleagues that have retired, please invite them to join our ranks and be a voice alongside us. Come along and ride on this fantastic voyage to Build Back Charlotte.
