I am so excited to be joining South Pine Academy as your new principal. A little bit about myself, I've been in education for over 20+ years. I graduated from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in music education and a minor in reading. I earned my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Before coming to South Pine Academy, I served as an assistant principal at Lebanon Road Elementary and Reedy Creek elementary schools. I’ve also been a Dean of Students at Bain Elementary, a teacher at Collinswood Language Academy and at Douglas Byrd Middle School.

 

Our staff have been working diligently to prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, as we kick off year two, here at the Eagles’ Nest . I am looking forward to an amazing year as we continue to grow our school community, while instilling in students a love of learning for life. My goal is to work with you, your child, and our stakeholders, to strengthen our partnership and make South Pine Academy an educational environment of excellence!
