    • An application must be submitted for each car you plan to register. A maximum of three cars is permitted per student.

    • Once you have been approved for a parking permit, you will receive an email that you are approved (see dates above).

      • Notices will be sent to the student’s CMS email and parent email on file.

    • After receiving an approval email, visit South Meck website and pay the fee using Online School Payments. The cost of a parking permit is $25 for the school year.  If you pay prior to getting approval, you will not be issued a refund.

    • Permits will be available for pick-up in the front office on the dates/times included in your approval email. You will be required to show your driver’s license AND proof of payment.  If you are unable to pick up your permit, a parent may do so with their driver’s license. It must be the parent listed on the application. Parking permits not picked up within one week of your email notice will be reissued, and refunds will NOT be given.

    Arriving to School

All student drivers must follow the established flow of traffic, as seen on the parking map. Students should arrive at school on time, as gates will be locked promptly at 7:20 AM. The gates will only be unlocked for students who have a note. Students without a note will not be allowed to park in their assigned parking location. Please note that parking in undesignated or unassigned areas may result in your vehicle being towed.

    Multiple Vehicles

Any vehicle that the student might drive on campus must be registered. Each vehicle requires a separate application.  A student may only list three (3) vehicles at a time.  If a vehicle is no longer able to be driven, please notify Ms. Edwards by email to remove that vehicle.  If there is a change in the vehicle driven and/or license plate, you must notify Ms. Edwards by email 24 hours prior to driving the vehicle on campus AND properly display your parking permit in the vehicle you drive on campus. Unregistered vehicles may be towed if parking violations persist. It is your responsibility to place the parking permit in the vehicle being driven.

    Temporary Vehicles

Temporary vehicles are vehicles that you are driving for a limited period of time (less than 5 days). The car must also be registered using the Google Form application. Failure to do so may result in the car being ticketed and/or towed. Notification of temporary vehicles is required before 7:10 AM on the first day the student drives the vehicle on campus. It is your responsibility to place the parking permit in the vehicle being driven.

    Temporary Parking Permits

Students who will not have their parking permit in their possession for 5 days or less must purchase a temporary permit. Temporary permits are valid for 5 days from the date of issue. Temporary parking permits cost $5. Students should purchase the permit online via Online School Payments. Students should report to the main office to receive the temporary permit.

    Lost Parking Permits

    Parking Without a Permit

Students who park on campus without a valid parking permit will receive a warning. The warning involves documenting the car’s make, model, and license plate number. Repeated violations will result in towing at the expense of the owner.
