Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) presents a 2026-2027 budget that is entirely student-focused so we can continue to provide resources for every student and surpass recent historic academic gains.
To continue on our trajectory of greatness and ensure every student – no matter their life circumstances – can succeed, we must always look to continuously improve, prepare for unplanned challenges, and be intentional that we use resources towards proven strategies that empower our students to realize bright futures.
