CMS Library Services
CMS Library Services provides an array of high-quality resources, both print and digital, to meet the diverse needs of our school communities. Information about the selection criteria and process for acquiring school library resources is outlined in CMS Board Regulation A-ILM/R.
While we strive to ensure that students have access to a diversity of titles and resources through our library programs, we understand that not every book is for every reader. Therefore, if a parent/guardian wishes to restrict access to a book for their student, they may contact the School Media Coordinator/Staff or Kim Ray (kimberly.ray@cms.k12.nc.us). If a parent/guardian wishes to object to the inclusion of a title in their student's school library collection, please see the CMS Parents' Bill of Rights page to initiate a formal objection
We encourage parents/guardians to view available books in their school library using Destiny Discover, the online catalog.
