Operations: Readying Our Schools

Behind every great first day of school is a team working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Welcoming students back means getting all of our schools ready to ensure that our scholars return to classrooms that are optimal for learning. From shining up floors, to laying new field turf, to maintenancing buses and replacing HVACs, the mighty operations team has been hard at work all summer making sure that our students and staff return to clean and operational facilities. Take a look at how we’ve been setting the stage for a seamless August return to school!

A plumber kneels on a tiled floor, working on the pipes beneath a sink, with bathroom stalls visible in the background.
Two construction workers in high-visibility vests embrace in the foreground, while another worker stands behind a large bag in the background of a hallway.
A mechanic in blue overalls and gloves works on the brake assembly of a yellow school bus, which is supported by red jack stands.

Our Transportation crews maintaining buses, installing new technology equipment, and training new drivers.

Operations crews installing new HVACs and upgrading flooring.
