Request Transportation (All requests take 3 to 5 business days to complete once submitted.)

Parents & Families - To request bus service, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Click on the following link to create your AlphaPortal Account (you request transportation, alternate stops, and unsafe stops in this account).

Step 2. Enter District Code: 73877

Step 3.  Add your student(s) to the account.

Step 4. Make your request for service, and you will be notified once the request is complete (email or text whichever you select).

Bus Safety & Maintenance

Student safety is our top priority. Parents are encouraged to review bus safety rules with their child and return any required acknowledgment forms to their school. Students who violate the Code of Student Conduct or create safety concerns may lose bus-riding privileges.

CMS Transportation conducts bus inspections every 30 days and follows a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure vehicles remain safe and reliable. Drivers receive ongoing safety and emergency training, and buses undergo additional inspections throughout the year.

Evacuation Procedure

Buster & Gus: School Bus Safety Team

Buster and Gus bring school bus safety to life through fun, interactive presentations that teach students how to stay safe on and around the school bus. Gus, a full-size school bus, and Buster, a talking miniature safety bus, help students learn important safety practices such as crossing the street safely, avoiding the bus "Danger Zone," waiting for the bus, and emergency evacuation procedures.

Schools can schedule a 20–25 minute presentation by contacting CMS Transportation at 980-343-6715. After each presentation, students have an opportunity to take photos with Buster and Gus.

Express Stop (Things to Know)

CMS Transportation is committed to providing safe, efficient, and equitable transportation services that support student success. To meet the growing demand for transportation to magnet programs, CMS introduced Express Stops for selected full and partial magnet high schools. Express Stops are centralized pick-up locations designed to improve transportation efficiency, reduce ride times, expand access to magnet programs, and enhance the overall student experience. Students attending their home school or home magnet school are not affected by this service.
