AlphaRoute (Tutorials and Step By Step Instruction)

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools now uses AlphaRoute to process transportation requests. To use the platform, parents will need to create an account, which will allow them to submit requests and keep them informed about the status of their requests via email or text message - whichever communication method they prefer. 

Parents & Families 

Step 1.) Click on the following link to create your AlphaPortal Account (you request transportation, alternate stops, and unsafe stops in this account).

Step 2.)  Add your student(s) to the account.

Step 3.) Make your request for service and you will be notified once the request is complete.

Directions for School Staff (Not Parents)

Step 1.) Sign in to your AlphaRoute account here - AlphaRoute. Each school provided a list of users in advance. We emailed the username and password to those individuals.  If you need access or have trouble with your password, please contact Kevin Devore. Check your Spam and Junk folders for the verification code.

Step 2.) Click on the Alpha School tile for transportation information, reports and boarding passes, etc.
Step 3.) Any questions, please reach out to your Routing Technician for assistance.
