Communities in Schools of Charlotte-Mecklenburg (CIS-Charlotte) and Road to Hire have announced a new partnership to give students across Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools a more connected path forward after graduation. The organizations made the announcement at West Mecklenburg High School on Sept. 24.

“We share a belief in what becomes possible when young people are surrounded by the right support and connected to opportunity at every stage,” said the organizations. “CIS-Charlotte begins that work early and continues alongside students through high schools, while Road to Hire builds on that foundation as students prepare for what comes next. This partnership creates greater intention and continuity between our programs while allowing each organization to remain focused on what it does best. Together, we can extend our reach and help more CMS students translate hard work and opportunity into postsecondary success, high-wage careers and meaningful contributions to Charlotte’s economy and workforce.”
