Teaching as a Profession

Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, CTEC will begin offering new courses to prepare our students for the teaching profession. 9th grade students will take Teaching as a Profession I (TAAP 1), 10th grade students will take Teaching as a Profession II (TAAP 2) and our 11th/12th grade students will take a field experiences course. We are excited to be able to offer these experiences to prepare our students for a possible career in education.
