Summer Credit Recovery Program

Independence High School will host a Credit Recovery Summer Program.

 

Summer Session I begins Wednesday, June 14, 2023 and ends Friday, June 30, 2023. 

 

Summer Session II begins Monday, July 10, 2023 and ends on Monday, July 31, 2023. 

 

Students will be expected to log in to their course Monday - Thursday from 8 AM. – 2 PM.  Students can come to Independence High School for In-Person Support from June 14 - July 27, 2023 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Independence High School will be closed July 3 - 7, 2023. Transportation will not be provided but parents can drop and pick students up at Independence High School.  However, students can still work on their course virtually.  

 

Students will be required to use Edgenuity to complete credit recovery programming.

 

New Credit Course Work Time	Approximately 90 hours
Credit Recovery Course Work Time	Approximately 60 hours
Number of New Credit courses a student can take (Student receives a numerical grade. Can be taken for grade suppression)	2 new courses
Number of CR courses a student can take (Student receives Pass or Fail)	4 courses
Percentage of the course that must be completed	100%

 

Independence High School will have Registration for the Summer School Credit Recovery Program at Independence High School on June 13th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
