Athletics Summer Workout Information

Below is information on summer workouts and tryouts for fall athletics teams:

  • Women's Tennis Workouts: Coaches Dianne & Jan Spence
    • Where: Independence Tennis Courts (Behind 300 building)
    • Dates: Monday - Thursday June 26th-29th; July 10th-13th; July 24th-27th
    • Time: 7:30am-10:30am
    • Bring a tennis racket, a water bottle, and a towel.
  • Women's Volleyball Tryouts: Coach Jasmine Blowe
    • Where: Main Gym
    • Dates: August 1st-2nd
    • Time: 12:00pm-2:30pm (Check-in begins at 11:30am; tryouts start promptly at 12:00pm)
    • Bring a plain white t-shirt, running shoes, water bottle(s), knee pads/arm sleeves, court shoes (optional)
    • The first mandatory team practice will be held on August 3rd, 12:00pm - 3:00pm
    • The Varsity team will play in a scrimmage on August 4th at AL Brown High School.

  • Men's Soccer Summer Workouts: Coach Tyler Gibson
  • Cross Country: Coach Amanda Hawthorne & Coach Ken Waldron
    • Summer Workouts: Begin June 15th from 7:30am-9:00am at Veterans Memorial Park in Mint Hill. Meet at the Pavilion by the playground on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
    • Official First Day: July 31st from 7:00am-9:00am. Meet in the Gym Lobby.
    • Bring water and running shoes
