Principal's Weekly Message
Good afternoon families!
As of this afternoon, we have raised $7,573 for our annual Pirate Fun Run! Our goal is to raise $15,000 to support our school. We are over halfway there!
SURPRISE WEEKEND COMPETITION!
The class that raises the most money this weekend will receive a popsicle party tomorrow!
Pirate Fun Run on Friday, May 2
We would love for families to join us for our Pirate Fun Run! All visitors must sign in at the front office before walking to the track. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your child's scheduled run to ensure enough time to sign in and walk to the track. All visitors will exit directly from the track after the run.
8:45-9:15 am: PK, Kindergarten, 1st grade & Ms. Cunningham's class
9:45-10:15 am: 4th & 5th grade & Mr. Ruch's class
10:45-11:15 am: 2nd & 3rd grade
This week's edition of the Lake Wylie Weekly and an incredible summer opportunity are attached.
*Updated safety procedure*
Student and staff safety is our number one priority, and we are committed to aligning our school safety procedures to CMS district recommendations. For these reasons, beginning Monday, April 28, any materials needed to be dropped off for students (lunches, water bottles, materials, etc.) after the instructional day begins will be dropped off at a designated table outside the front doors. School staff will retrieve those items and deliver them to your child. Please reach out with any questions.
Thank you for all your continued support of Lake Wylie Elementary! We are looking forward to seeing all of our Pirates tomorrow morning!
