Required Senior Meeting March 7th

Senior Meeting March 7th:

All seniors will have a Mandatory Senior Meeting on Tuesday, March 7th. 

This is the day of the ACT for Juniors. After the meeting, SGA and PTSO are sponsoring a special brunch for our Senior Mustangs.

Seniors that are NOT able to attend the meeting MUST email Principal Robert Folk to still participate in the Graduation ceremony.

As a senior privilege, seniors are permitted to arrive to school at 8am and report directly to the Auditorium. If a senior arrives before this time, they can wait in their Homeroom. 

Meeting Agenda:

Graduation Ceremony Coordinators will present info about graduation and rehearsal. 

Counselors will discuss graduation requirements and Naviance. 

SGA will discuss some senior activities occurring this spring. 

After the meeting, Seniors will move to the cafeteria and quad for a special Senior Brunch sponsored by SGA and PTSO. 

Cap & Gown Pick-up:

Seniors may also pick up their pre-ordered cap & gown at this time. 

If students have not yet ordered their cap & gown, they can purchase it for $80 (cash only) and take one home that day. Orders were due in December, so we cannot guarantee the graduates will get the size they prefer, but we will try to accommodate them all in the best way possible.

Dismissal Time:

Once ACT testing concludes (approximately 11:30 AM), students will have an opportunity to eat lunch prior to returning to homeroom for the afternoon. To avoid testing irregularities, students CANNOT be dismissed during ACT testing. At the conclusion of testing, students can be dismissed. To be dismissed, the parent/guardian MUST complete the Google form for each student being dismissed at 11:30 AM.

CPCC Dual Enrollment Students:

Full-Time CPCC Students with no Myers Park classes are exempt from this meeting on March 7, as your CPCC schedule likely conflicts with this time. Please look for info coming from CPCC Coordinator Michelle Beyer in the next week or so. 

Note: You WILL be required to attend the mandatory Graduation Rehearsal on June 5th.
