Student Hunger Drive: SUCCESS!

2023 Interact Club Student Hunger Drive

 Your monetary and canned food donations made it possible for MPHS to provide substantial assistance to Second Harvest Food Bank of the Metrolina.  

Myers Park High School collected:

• 464 Physical pounds of food
• $1,635 Online donations - $1 equals 7 pounds of food!
• The Grand total of 11,909 pounds of food.

Support from students, staff, parents and community supporters made 2023 Student Hunger Drive a success. The 11,909 pounds of food will support those in need and greatly assist Second Harvest Food Bank serve their clients during difficult times. Our Interact club members witnessed firsthand the need as they volunteered to pack and sort goods at Second Harvest Food Bank during the drive. On behalf of Myers Park High School Interact Club thank you MPHS Community!  Remember, together we CAN end hunger!

Please advise your student to be on the lookout for the 2023-24 opportunity to get involved and join MPHS Interact Club.  We are associated with the Charlotte Rotary, have multiple initiatives for students to acquire service hours, volunteer in our local community, become an Interact Officer and apply for the Charlotte Rotary Scholarships.
