Open Campus Night for Freshman and Transfer Students
Thursday, August 24, 2023. 4:30 to 6:30 PM.
This event is for parents and students. We welcome rising 9th graders and transfer students to walk the campus in the order of their class schedule, find their classrooms, and meet their teachers. Open Campus is rain or shine! There are three 40-minute slots by last name. If you have a conflict, attend any time slot:
4:30 – 5:10 pm: Last name A to H
5:10 – 5:50 pm: Last name I to Q
5:50 – 6:30 pm: Last Name R to Z
BEFORE you arrive: PowerSchool Schedules will be available starting on Monday August 21st. Download the PowerSchool App. Log-in using district code GJKX, your school ID and create a password. Locate your schedule. Take a screenshot, print it, or write it down for quick access. If you do not know your school ID, please email Allyson Davis, email@example.com,
starting August 18th until August 24th.
When you arrive to MPHS:
Parking: See the Campus Map and Parking Guideline PDF posted on the MPHS PTSO website, under QUICKLINKS.
Look for tables set up in the front circle, the back parking lot off Runnymede or in the Quad to pick up the MPHS 411 flyer & a map!
During the event, use the map to walk your Semester 1 schedule in order from START to FINISH. Go to Homeroom first, then Block 1, Block 2, Block 3, and Block 4.
Find your classroom inside each building. Meet your teacher!
Bring a credit card or cash:
1.Kona Ice and another food truck will be in the front circle.
2.The MPHS SWAG Wagon will be selling gear.
Need more help?
If you cannot access PowerSchool, have no schedule, or have major holes in your schedule, please go to the front office for a copy of your schedule or to see a member of Student Services. No class changes are made during Open Campus. All concerns will need to be addressed via the Schedule Change Google Form which will be available on August 21st. .
