Good evening Oaklawn Family!

This is Principal Trangsrud with your weekly Oaklawn Connect-Ed.

Welcome back! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving break filled with joy and family.

Do you know a family interested in their incoming kinder student learning two languages at the same time? We have our  in person Magnet Lottery Open House for incoming kinder students 24-25 school year on Wednesday, November 29^th at 10 am.

We have a few save the dates for upcoming events:.

MS band concert on Thursday, December 14^th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Book Fair from Dec. 11^th to Dec. 15^th.

We have 92 students on the Angel Tree this year, which is by far the most we've ever had, and we would love to get them all sponsored! Gifts are due back unwrapped on Friday, December 8^th. Please forward this link to family and friends and thank you so much for your generosity!

With winter fully upon us, we have tons of coats in our lost and found.  If your students have lost any, please ask him/her to check in the lost and found zone. The clothes will be available to go through for the next few weeks.  Whatever is not claimed before the Winter break will be donated.

Oaklawn Conexión Semanal 11-26-23

Este es un mensaje de la Sra. Trangsrud con su conexión telefónica semanal.

¿Conoce a una familia interesada en que su nuevo estudiante de kínder pueda aprender dos idiomas al mismo tiempo? Tenemos nuestra Casa Abierta (Open House) de la Lotería para el programa Magnet, en persona, para los estudiantes de Kínder que ingresan al año escolar 24-25 el miércoles 29 de noviembre a las 10 am.  

Algunas fechas importantes para que tengan en cuenta:

 Concierto de la banda de MS el jueves 14 de diciembre de 6:00 pm a 7:00 pm.

 Feria del Libro del 11 al 15 de diciembre.

Este año tenemos 92 estudiantes en el Angel Tree, que es, con diferencia, la mayor cantidad que hemos tenido, ¡y nos encantaría patrocinarlos a todos! Los regalos deben devolverse sin envolver el viernes 8 de diciembre. Envíe este enlace a familiares y amigos ¡y muchas gracias por su generosidad!

Con el invierno a la vuelta de la esquina, tenemos toneladas de abrigos en nuestra sección de objetos perdidos. Si sus estudiantes han perdido alguno, pídale que revise la zona de objetos perdidos y encontrados. La ropa estará disponible para ser revisada durante las próximas semanas. Todo lo que no se reclame antes de las vacaciones de invierno será donado.
