Outdoor Learning: Winget Park students have always been fortunate to have a beautiful campus that is nestled right beside a county park. Teachers and students are able to access the abundant wildlife and natural resources at the park. This summer, we added an Outdoor Classroom to our own campus. Thanks to grant funding from Outdoor Heritage Advisory Council and parent support for installation, we were able to create a learning space that is truly unique. 5th grade students were among the first students to use the Outdoor Classroom as they explored heat transfer while they roasted marshmallows.
