Bus Route Updates

Morning Transportation
We have received several parents' complaints/concerns about morning bus schedules this week.  I want to share with you our current challenges, how you can support and thank you for your patience.  CMS as a district is in need of more than 25 bus drivers.  Winterfield is missing 4 drivers this week out of the 10 we should have driving.  We currently do not have a morning driver for pink (1701), yellow (1681), and blue (1729) routes.  The driver for red (674) in the morning is out sick.  This means that the other drivers have to work picking up these students from the route they already have.  Please be patient, come out to the stop at your scheduled time, and remain at the stop until the bus comes.  If you are still at the stop at 7:45 and do not see a bus, please remain at the stop and call the school.  We are finding that parents/students are leaving the stop to call and missing the bus.  

Afternoon Transportation
We currently do not have a driver for pink (1701) and yellow (1681) in the afternoon.  Black (1783) and Grey (1074) have been working together to cover these routes.  If your student rides black or grey please do not be alarmed if you see the bus pass the stop.  That means they are running another route and will return to the school to get their second route.

Please be patient with us.  WES has an awesome group of drivers that work really hard each and every day to make sure your students are traveling safely.  I will continue to update you on any buses that have not left school at 3:30.

Transporte matutino
Hemos recibido varias quejas/inquietudes de padres sobre los horarios de los autobuses matutinos esta semana. Quiero compartir con ustedes nuestros desafíos actuales, cómo pueden apoyar y agradecerles por su paciencia. CMS como distrito necesita más de 25 conductores de autobús. A Winterfield le faltan 4 conductores esta semana de los 10 que deberíamos conducir. Actualmente no tenemos un conductor matutino para las rutas rosa (1701), amarilla (1681) y azul (1729). El conductor de la roja (674) de la mañana está enfermo. Esto significa que los otros conductores tienen que trabajar recogiendo a estos estudiantes en la ruta que ya tienen. Tenga paciencia, salga a la parada a la hora programada y permanezca en la parada hasta que llegue el autobús. Si todavía está en la parada a las 7:45 y no ve un autobús, quédese en la parada y llame a la escuela. Estamos descubriendo que los padres/estudiantes se están saliendo de la parada para llamar y están perdiendo el autobús.

Transporte por la tarde
Actualmente no tenemos chofer para rosa (1701) y amarillo (1681) por la tarde. Black (1783) y Gray (1074) han estado trabajando juntos para cubrir estas rutas. Si su estudiante viaja en negro o gris, no se alarme si ve que el autobús pasa por la parada. Eso significa que están siguiendo otra ruta y regresarán a la escuela para obtener su segunda ruta.

Por favor se paciente con nosotros. WES tiene un increíble grupo de conductores que trabajan muy duro todos los días para asegurarse de que sus estudiantes viajen seguros. Continuaré informándole sobre cualquier autobús que no haya salido de la escuela a las 3:30.
