ACTION: Have appropriate staff implement procedures

CMS Regulation A-GPA/R Grade Point Average/Class Ranking states that class rank shall be run on the 15th day of the semester. In keeping with this requirement, the rank/GPA report is to be run on the following schedule as dictated by the start date of your high school:

Early and Middle College High Schools (Cato, CPEC, Harper, Levine, Merancas)- rank to be run on Friday, August 25th

CEEC and CTEC – rank to be run on Tuesday, August 29th

Traditional CMS High Schools – Rank to be run on Monday, September 18th

Instructions for these procedures are provided below. Before class rank is run, PowerSchool should reflect all grades earned during the summer as well as a complete course history for each of your new students.

This will require that a complete credit detail evaluation be completed for new students before the rank is run.
