Comprehensive Review - Phase 2

The Board of Education voted on June 24, 2025, to approve Boundary Option 1 for the new elementary school at the Old Park Road site. The new school is scheduled to open in Fall 2026.

Option 1 includes:

• Enrollment for all boundary students from Marie G. Davis and Dilworth Elementary Schools.
• Estimated enrollment: 829 students (approximately 85% capacity at opening).
• With reassignment of 138 out-of-zone students back to home schools, projected enrollment increases to 967 students (approximately 99% capacity).

This approval comes following information sessions with families where overwhelming community support for Option 1 was evident. The rationale behind the decision includes:

• Minimal impact on students and families.
• Preservation of the current feeder patterns for middle and high schools.
• Stability and capacity for future growth.
