Freshman Connection Welcome Letter
Hello Rising 9th Grade POB Students / Families,
I hope this email finds you well. This communication is regarding our Freshman Connection summer program for rising 9th grade students. Please click the following link to indicate if your student would like to participate in one of the sessions.
Attached is school-based information regarding upcoming events and a message from our athletics director regarding 2024 sports.

This form is to inform you of the Freshman Connection (Summer Camp) program, sports summer workout schedule and band camp information. The form will also survey parent interest in our School Improvement Team, PTSA, Athletics Booster Club, and POB Advisory Board.

FRESHMAN CONNECTION
The goal of Freshman Connection is to expose students to life as a Freshman here at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology, CTE pathways, understanding the workforce beyond high school, exposure to local community colleges and universities in the area.
Freshman Connection will operate June 26 - July 25 on a 4-day work schedule (Monday - Thursday). The day will begin at 9 AM and conclude by 2 PM with a 30-minute lunch break included. The facility will be accessible to students as early as 8:30 AM with staff supervision.
2 - TWO WEEK SESSIONS:
June 26 - July 25, 2024 (excluding week of July 4th)
9am - 2pm Mon-Thurs
SESSION 1 (June 26th - July 11th) (Excluding week of July 4th)
SESSION 2 (July 15th - July 25th)
