Mr. Michael Lungarini

It is an honor and privilege to be the principal of Statesville Road Elementary school community.  I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of this great school with persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I have previously served as a teacher, coach, assistant principal , and principal as I am entering my 21st year as an educator. 

Along with teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Stateville Road by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors – staff, students, and parents – feels welcome and is excited to be here.  This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. 

I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions.  I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my student-centered approach to supporting the Statesville Road Eagles community.  Because the relationship between families and the school is vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.  I look forward to working aong side you soon as we grow forward together!
