  • Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

    FBLA is the national student organization for all secondary school students participating in business  and information technology education programs.  Membership is open to secondary school students, grades 6 through 12. FBLA is designed to function as an integral part of the instructional program of the business education curriculum.  The purpose of the organization is to “...provide opportunities for secondary school students to develop vocational and career supportive competencies for business and office occupations and to promote civic and personal responsibility.”

    Gentlemen Emerging Notably Together in Society (GENTS)
    Gents is a mentoring program meant to provide young men with academic support and guideance, leadership opportunities and participation in community service ventures. Advisor - Coach Budreau

    Junior Class Council (JCC) 
    is responsible for coordinating fundraisers and activities for the Junior class.  Some of the events that JCC is in charge of include: the Mr. Vance pageant and the Junior-Senior prom. Advisor -

    Junior Marshals 
    are selected from the junior class to serve as helpers to the seniors during senior week and graduation. They are selected based on GPA and rank. Usually the top 10% are selected to participate. They are required to be at all formal senior activities and wear the appropriate black and white ensemble. This is considered a great honor and is added to participants lists of accomplishments for collegiate acceptance purposes. Advisor -

    Latino Club 
    The Latino Club is dedicated to the participation in and enhancement of cultural activities relating to the Spanish-speaking world, providing leadership opportunities for students, and to volunteering in the community. The Latina Club meets the first Monday of each month from 6:40am - 7:10am or from 2:15pm - 3:15pm. Advisor - Ms.Weyrich

    National Honor Society

    The National Honor Society chapter of Julius L. Chambers High School is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to those students who meet the required standards in four areas of evaluation: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Students are selected for membership by majority vote of a five-member principal-appointed faculty council, which bestows this honor upon qualified students on behalf of the faculty of our school each fall semester.

    National Technical Honor Society 
    (NTHS) is an honor society that recognizes excellence in career and technical education. The chapter builds and helps maintain effective partnerships with local business and industry and tries to promote critical workplace values such as skill development, honesty, responsibility,service, scholarship, citizenship and leadership. The students engage community service activities. Advisor -​ 

    Project Lead The Way (PLTW)
    Project Lead The Way is all about teaching and learning. The hands-on, project and problem-based PLTW approach adds rigor to traditional technical programs and relevance to traditional academics.

    Senior Class Council (SCC)
    The SCC is responsible for fundraising for the senior gift to Vance as well as senior week.  

    The Unify Club
    The Unify Club is an inclusive club for all students to participate in. It is a club based around sports and is open to anyone regardless of ability level. The Unify Club is student lead and helps engage all students through school engagement opportunities as well as off campus events throughout the year. Our mission is to create a school environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion for all people. Advisor- Rebekah Bellai
