Welcome River Oaks Families, 

I would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year at River Oaks Academy.  We are a neighborhood school that was established in 2008 that serves scholars in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.  We have about 630 scholars at our school.  

At River Oaks Academy, we are committed to excellence and to addressing the social and emotional needs, as well as the instructional needs, of every student. We believe that all students can achieve and we will work with our students and families to make that happen for every student.  This year, our theme is "Growing Greatness."  Our focus will be on strong instruction, data tracking, and goal setting.  We will work with our scholars to support them in building self-efficacy and self-management skills.  

Our school motto is: "One School, One Team: Empowering our Scholars for Success."  This work can't be done without the collaboration of our parents, teachers, scholars, and community members.  We look forward to partnering with all stakeholders to make ROA the best school it can be!
