Car riders are required to apply for a Car Rider Tag that is issued by the school. You must display the number by hanging the tag from your rearview mirror. Students will not be released to anyone who does not have a Car Rider Tag and Number. Adults who come to pick up a child without a tag will be required to park and show their identification to front office staff to verify their identity. This process is in place to protect your child and keep him or her safe.

Our procedures for Car Riders can be located on the application form, and it is located below for your convenience. Please familiarize yourself with our procedures and abide by them at all times.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited to meet our new families and welcome everyone to our school family.  Our number one priority is the education and safety of your child. When driving, please make sure you do not drop your child at any other location than the designated DROP ZONE. Conduct your vehicle at a reasonable rate of speed in the parking lot.

If your child(ren) will be an AFTERNOON car rider on a daily or regular basis, please complete this form to receive a car rider tag. Only ONE hang tag per family will be issued which will need to be displayed from your rearview mirror throughout the ENTIRE carpool line until your child(ren) is/are in the car.  Your child(ren) will be responsible for listening and knowing their carpool number.

Car Pool Arrival Procedures:
Do not park your cars in the school lot and walk your child to the door.  When this happens, we have to stop the line to let you cross which slows the car pool process.
Please look to staff for directions.  If they are waving you on, please continue before stopping to let your child out.  We are trying to maximize the number of children exiting the cars so they may enter the building safely.  
Make sure your child is ready to get out of the car (bags packed, seat belt unbuckled) when stopped at the designated drop zone.  Do not get out of the car to assist your child as this slows the car pool process.  
Exit on the RIGHT side of the vehicle at all times.  This is for student safety.

Car Pool Dismissal Procedures:
If your child is a car rider please stay in your car and follow the carpool line until your child is released to pick-up.
As you enter the carpool line, please hang your car tag number on your rearview mirror so carpool staff can radio to staff for your child to come to their assigned station.

Please proceed to the station that was assigned to your child – DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR.
Please follow the carpool line until you exit the school parking lot – Do not pass other cars or park to get your child once the carpool line is in progress or if it is after 2:30pm; this slows the car pool process.  You will be required to show your ID to pick up your child in the front office after the school dismissal process is finished.  
We urge you to continue to send in the forms with completed information so we can assign your carpool numbers as quickly as possible.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Unsafe Actions- We are asking all parents and families to NOT do the following:
Do NOT get out of your car and wait in the parking lot to pick up your child. For the safety of all students, your child will be released after all carpool cars and riders have been dismissed.
Do NOT pull out from behind a car after you have picked up your child.

Early Dismissal Procedures
Early Dismissal is before 2:30pm.  You will not be allowed to walk to the office to pick-up your child after 2:30pm. You will be asked to join the carpool line to pick-up your child.
In the event of early dismissal, a note should be sent with your child informing the school of the time you will pick up your child. This will ensure that your child will be ready for Early Dismissal when you arrive.

Estimados Padres,
Bienvenidos al año escolar 2023-2024. Nos emociona llegar a conocer a nuestras nuevas familias y les damos la bienvenida a todos a nuestra familia escolar. Nuestra prioridad número uno es la educación y seguridad de su niño. AI manejar, asegúrese de no dejar a su niño en cualquier otro Iugar que no sea el lugar asignado (DROP ZONE). Maneje su vehículo a una velocidad razonable en el estacionamiento.

Si su/s niño/s será/n recogidos en auto POR LAS TARDES diaria o regularmente. Por favor llene este formulario y devuelvalo a la oficina escolar para recibir una tarjeta para estudiantes que montan auto. Solamente UNA tarjeta será dada por familia la cual se tiene que exhibir colgando del espejo retrovisor de su auto durante toda la linea de espera de carros hasta que su/s nino/s esté/n dentro del auto. Su/s niño/s debe/n saber su numero y poner atención para oírlo.

Procedimiento de Llegada para la Línea de Autos:
1- No estacione su vehículo y traiga su estudiante a la puerta. Cuando esto ocurre, tenemos que parar la                       línea y dejarlo cruzar a usted, algo que retrasa el proceso.
2- Por favor esté al tanto de las instrucciones del personal. Si le estan endicando que adelante, por favor continue antes de dejar bajar a su niño. Estamos tratando de dejar que el mayor número de niños baje de los autos y entren al plantel seguramente.
3- Asegúrese que su niño esté Iisto para salir del auto (tenga su mochila, tenga el cinturón de seguridad desabrochado) cuando pare en el área designada para su salida. No baje usted del auto para ayudar a su niño pues esto retrasa el proceso.
4- La salida debe ser siempre a la derecha del vehículo. Esto es para la seguridad del estudiante.

Procedimiento de Recogida para la Línea de Autos:
1-         Si su niño va ser recogido en auto, por favor manténgase en su auto y siga la línea de recogida hasta que su niño Ilegue a la estación de recogida por color ( Rojo, Anaranjado, Amarillo, Verde, Azul).
2 AI entrar en la línea de recogida, por favor cuelgue la tarjeta numerada en el espejo retrovisor de su auto para que el personal pueda comunicarse por radio para pedir que su niño salga a la estación de recogida por color.
3- Por favor avance hasta llegar a la estación por color que se le asignó a su niño. — No se baje del auto.
4- Por favor siga en la línea de carros hasta salir del estacionamiento escolar - No pase a otros carros o estacione ya estando avanzando la línea o si es después de las 3:30 pm; esto retrasa el proceso. Se le pedirá que muestre identificación para recoger a su niño en la oficina después que el proceso de despedida escolar haya terminado.
5- Les instamos a que sigan mandando los formularios con la información completa para que podamos asignar los números lo más pronto posible. Gracias por su cooperación.

Acciones No Seguras: Les pedimos a todos los padres y familias que NO hagan lo siguiente:
NO se bajen de su auto a esperar por su estudiante. Por la seguridad de todos los estudiantes, se le dejará salir a su niño después que todos los autos en linea hayan sido despachados.
NO pase a los carrosque están delante de usted después de haber recogido a su niño.

Procedimiento de Salidas Tempranas
1. Las Salidas Tempranas son antes de las 2:30pm. No se le permifirá llegar a la oficina a recoger a su niño después de las 2:30 pm. Se le pedirá que se incorpore a la línea de autos para recoger a su niño.
2. En el evento que usted vaya a recoger temprano a su niño, mande una nota con su niño informándonos de la hora en que usted pasara a recogerlo. Esto asegurará que su niño esté Iisto para la salida temprana cuando usted llegue
