Eligibility Requirements for Parking Permit Application:

                    • Applicants must be an iMeck student during the 22-23 school year.

                    • Permit holders must have a valid Driver’s License

    Application Procedure:

    • The Google form must be completed online and a copy of your license and registration (signed by both parent and student) either uploaded as a PDF or given to Ms Bauguss in room 217.  We will not accept faxes or scans as they might not be completely readable.  Do not email a picture.

    • Applications will be accepted beginning November 1st. Those applications will be processed first and given priority for spaces available. All seniors who apply and are eligible will be given first priority.  Juniors who apply and are eligible will then follow.

    • Once approved for a parking permit, you will receive an email from Ms. Bauguss regarding payment. There is a $25 parking fee. This can be paid through the online payment center. Cash payments can be made to Mr Stitt in Room 217. If there are not enough spaces to accommodate all applicants, permits will be issued for spaces in order of payment receipt date.

    • You will be required to show your driver’s license to pick up the parking permit.  If you are unable to pick-up your permit, a parent may do so with their driver’s license.  It must be the parent listed on the application.

    • Any vehicle that the student might drive on campus must be registered.  A student may only list one (1) vehicle at a time.  If a vehicle is no longer able to be driven, please notify Mr. Stitt by email (randyb.stitt@cms.k12.nc.us) to remove that vehicle.  If there is a change in the vehicle driven and/or license plate, you must notify Mr. Stitt 24 hours prior to driving the vehicle on campus.  The car must also be registered using the Google form application. Failure to do so may result in the car being ticketed and booted.

    Loss of Parking Privileges:
The use of a motor vehicle on campus is a privilege that may be limited or revoked at any time.  Any school administrator may revoke or suspend a student’s driving/parking privilege as a result of but not limited to the following:

    • Tardiness to class or school

    • Repeated parking violations

    • Moving violations

    • Reckless driving

    • Leaving school without permission

    • Any other disciplinary issues, ISI or OSS

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF EXPECTATIONS AND GUIDELINES:

    • By submitting the Google form application, we acknowledge that we have read and understand the iMeck  Student Parking Regulations.  We understand that any violation of the conditions set forth in these regulations may result in the termination of this parking privilege and may also result in appropriate disciplinary action by school administration, the car being towed off campus at the owner’s expense, booting of the vehicle with payment of appropriate fines prior to removal, and/or legal action in court.  We acknowledge that any unpaid fines will result in termination of current permit and may lead to the decline of future Parking Permit applications. We acknowledge that it may become necessary for school authorities to open, enter and search the vehicle and its contents and to remove any unauthorized articles as described in CMS Code of Conduct or any other articles that may endanger the health, welfare or safety of students or school personnel.  Any such articles may be retained and used as evidence in disciplinary proceedings by school authorities or delivered to appropriate law enforcement officials.  All such actions are at the sole discretion of CMS school employees.  We acknowledge that CMS and iMeck Academy will in no way be held liable for any damages to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles on school property, whether the result of negligence or otherwise. We hold harmless and release from any and all claims CMS, iMeck Academy, and all agents on their behalf.
