Missing 2 or more days of school each month is considered chronically absent! Kindergartners and first grade students who are chronically absent have an 81% chance of NOT being on grade level in reading by third grade. By 8th grade students who are chronically absent are 7.4 times more likely to drop out. Attendance becomes habit- Help your child build good academic habits!
