Logging On to a Chromebook From Home
I want to remind everyone of an extra step that must be completed if students are using their Chromebook at home. After they log into their Chromebook, they must log in to the Zscaler (Filtered CMS network)
- Log in to Chromebook like normal.
- Connect your Chromebook to your home network.
- Once you open a website, you will be asked to log in one more time.
At this point, you will only need to enter the student's full email address.
Email: IDNumber@student.cms.k12.nc.us
**If for some reason that does not work try this instead.
Username: IDNumber@CMS.k12.nc.us (take out the word student)
Password: YYYYMMDD (Birthday password)
