Required Summer Reading

23-24 Required Summer Reading for ALL GRADES:

Maintaining reading skills is an imperative. South Charlotte Middle School values literacy, student choice, and the joy of losing oneself in a book. To that end, we require summer reading for all grades. Please find the list of books from which students can choose one (here). Students should report to school in August with their one-pager assignment complete.  This will be the first assignment of the year, and our ELA teachers look forward to seeing their new students' creativity and thinking!
