National School Library Month - Robin Williams talks about the Makerspace at East Mecklenburg High School

East Mecklenburg High School's Media Coordinator, Robin Williams, believes in the importance of creativity and safe spaces for her students. She approaches her Media Center with this in mind, and it has manifested in an expansive Makerspace and Social Emotional Learning class time with students. Her makerspace has everything from simple building sets to digital robots and 3-D printers!

During the month of April, we will explore some of the many benefits and services provided by our school’s media centers, the minds behind some of these center’s initiatives, and little known facts that might surprise you!
