I am honored to serve as the principal of Mint Hill Elementary School and look forward to continue to support our amazing school, students, families, teachers, and community! I have previously served as the Principal of Winget Park Elementary School, an Assistant Principal at Shamrock Gardens Elementary School, and a Resident Principal at Albemarle Road Elementary School. In addition to my experience as a school leader at CMS, I taught middle school and high school Social Studies and Special Education in Upstate New York for 9 years.

As an educator and leader, I believe that our children's physical and emotional safety is our most important job--but not our only job. We must ensure that our students enjoy school, learn and grow each day, and leave elementary school ready to take the next step in their lives. I look forward to partnering with our community and stakeholders to ensure that each of those goals is met and our school ensures the success and growth of every student. 

In addition to serving as principal of Mint Hill Elementary School, I am also the father of a CMS 4th-grade student. My son, Lincoln, is proud to be a Manatee at Mint Hill Elementary School! My wife, Kari, is a Physician Assistant in the Charlotte area.
