Dear Winding Springs Families,

I am BEYOND excited to start the 2023 – 2024 school year and want to immediately THANK YOU for allowing us to serve you and your children! At Winding Springs, we strive to offer the HIGHEST quality customer service and excellence in all we do to create the BEST experience for every family that chooses Windings Springs. We are excited to continue building that strong foundation for our students to become GREAT well-rounded individuals!

For safety purposes, students who will be car riders, will only be dismissed through the carpool line if the appropriate car rider tag is visible. There will be a sign-up during Open House on August 22nd and these tags will be issued during the first few school days of school. The car ride arrival ends promptly at 8:25am and car rider dismissal ends promptly at 3:45pm. If after those times, parents/guardians, must come inside the building and follow the procedures to either sign-in or sign-out their child depending on arrival or dismissal.

Walkers will be dismissed promptly at 3:30pm and escorted by Winding Springs staff to the edge of the Winding Springs property at the crosswalk entering the path to the Devongate Community. Parents are encouraged to meet their students at that location by 3:30pm. Only walkers identified in Winding Springs Elementary No Transportation Zone will be allowed to be a walker. There will also be a table available at the Open House on August 22nd to get more information.

Winding Springs Elementary is a uniform school. Students are expected to wear a white, navy, or green collared shirt or a Winding Springs t-shirt. Bottoms may be navy or khaki. Shorts, dresses, skorts, pants, or capris are also acceptable. While there will be plenty of opportunities when we have a “dress down” or “spirit” day, it is expected that all students be in uniform every day. The specific attire regarding “dress down” days will be communicated to you via connect ed, ParentSquare, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
