Mrs. Jamie Peterson

Mrs. Peterson has been an educator for 30 years! She has been an elementary classroom teacher, a TD Catalyst Teacher for 14 years, and an Administrator since 2016. She graduated from East Mecklenburg High School, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UNC-Charlotte, A Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Queens University, and an Academically Gifted License from the University of Virginia. She joined Irwin Academic Center in 2022 and says she has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the IAC family thus far!

Outside of school, Mrs. Peterson enjoys spending time with her husband, Bobby, her daughters and her granddaughter, Charlie. She also loves to exercise, be involved in her church, and spend time at the beach!
