• CMS Textbooks:
CMS textbooks and/or novels will be issued by each CMS teacher.  Students are expected to be good stewards of their resources.  Materials must be returned at the end of the semester or after completion of the class.  Damage to the book or failure to return these items may result in a fee assessed for the cost of the book.

    CPCC Textbooks:
NEW TEXTBOOK PROCESS: In Spring 2024, Central Piedmont Community College launched the IncludED Textbook Access Program. This program make required course materials (not including recommended materials) available to students on or before the first day of class as part of their tuition and fees. All Central Piedmont students enrolled in a curriculum program (classes for a college degree) are eligible and will be automatically covered in the IncludED program.

    How does it work:

    Digital Materials

Required digital materials will be available to you in Brightspace by class start date.

    Physical Materials

You will receive an email confirming that your required physical materials are ready for pickup.  Please note, the Levine Bookstore will only have materials for classes located on this campus.  Online class materials are typically picked up at the Central Campus. You may put in an order for shipping and have it sent to the Levine bookstore or your home through the website if you cannot travel to Central Campus.

Drop a Course During Drop/Add Period?

Student accounts are automatically refunded for digital materials.  Physical materials must be returned to the store for student accounts to be refunded.

Add a Course During Drop/Add Period?

Digital materials are automatically added in Brightspace for added courses.  You will receive an email when physical materials for an added course are ready for pick up.

    Want to Opt-out?

You will receive an email with the opt-out deadline, instructions, and link to the opt-out portal.
