Updated School Policies

CCiA Families, please review the following updated policies with your student for the 23-24 school year:

As of the 23-24 school year, CCiA is a no-phone zone. The use of cell phones, earbuds, and AirPods is not permitted during school hours. Using such devices during restricted hours (7:15 AM - 2:15 PM) will result in the device being confiscated with parent pick-up only. High school students may use their devices only during lunch.

No Phone Zone

If a student brings a phone or earbuds to CCiA, the phone/earbuds should be turned off and placed in a backpack or purse. Cell phones and/or earbuds should not be visible in students’ hands/ears or clothing. All phones and earbuds should be powered off and out of sight. If there is an emergency, parents should call the school at 980-343-6460.

  • The first time, students will receive no more than three verbal warnings from staff when in violation of the cell phone policy.

  • The second time an electronic device (including cell phones) is confiscated, a parent/guardian will have to receive the device at the conclusion of the school day, or it will be held for three (3) consecutive days, beginning the day it is confiscated + ISI.

  • The third and any additional time an electronic device (including cell phones) is confiscated, it will be held for five (5) consecutive days, beginning the day it is confiscated + OSS.

Note: Failure to turn over a phone after a violation will result in ISS or OSS based on progressive disciplinary action.
