Drama Sets: Mr. Maranchello
Highland Creek Elementary offers the unique experience of a Drama Club that puts on a full musical production every year. This club is open to 4th and 5th-grade students. Drama Club is run by our 2nd-grade teacher, Mrs. Barbee, and our music teacher, Ms. Latino. Students who are in Drama Club have weekly rehearsals where they learn music, choreography, and acting. When it is showtime, our shows come to life with the amazing sets created by our art teacher, Mr. Maranchello. HCE has recently had a complete audio system renovation to allow our students’ hard work to be heard. Drama Club gives students a community of peers working together for a long-term goal. Students can be expressive and creative, build confidence, and practice responsibility. Previous HCE musicals include Jungle Book, Aladdin, Lion King, Seussical, Cinderella, Annie, and most recently… FROZEN! Come see what we are all about!
