Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department

  • Welcome to the Providence High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department!

The Providence CTE Department aims to prepare students for employment opportunities and advanced education. We aim to meet each students' needs by cultivating their abilities and helping them realize their aspirations. Our hope is that by exposing students to many different career paths across multiple fields, we can guide them to finding a career opportunity that suits them.

At Providence, we offer courses in 8 different career pathways. The purpose of these pathways is to expose students to potential future career fields, develop their knowledge and skills in a field, and build career connections. As students progress through a pathway they will have opportunities to earn professional certifications free of cost and connect with experts in the field via guest speakers, field trips, job shadowing, and internships. All pathways are listed below with their courses in sequential order.

**All students meet with their designated counselor to review and discuss course requests.
