Extra Curricular Activities at MPTS
Students in grades 4-5 are invited to audition for MPTS Singers, our school chorus led by our very own music teacher, Mrs. Larter. Students perform at our Prospective Parent Open House events, PTA meetings, during school holiday events, and at select community events. Practice is held once a week after school during the school year.
Charlotte’s leaders in lacrosse instruction. Team 24/7 Lacrosse and Queen City Stars have teamed up to create an introductory program for children in grades 2-5. Each participant receives their first lacrosse stick, if requested, and a t-shirt as part of registration. Visit our website for more information.
At P3 Basketball, we know that passion, coupled with preparation, will take each player’s performance to the next level. Our experienced coaches are always engaged and participate alongside the players in each and every practice session. We believe players will increase their passion and motivation for basketball if they see that their coaches are driven by their love for the game and are committed to enhancing the training experience.
Boys in grades 4-5 are trained by coaches on teams that meet twice a week. The boys exercise and participate in fun activities which help them learn how to express themselves, reach personal goals, and improve overall wellness. Coaches connect the boys “sole to soul” as well instruct them about proper running form and correct stretching techniques. Students train to participate in a 5K race at the end of the session.
