The School Choice Lottery for the 2024-2025 school year has closed. Notification results for those who participated will be available at the end of January. Look for your letter in the mail! If you missed this year’s lottery, the next opportunity for families to try for a seat at a magnet school with space is through participation in the reassignment/transfer process. This process is handled by Student Placement, and it opens February 1st. A list of schools with space and the link to apply will be housed at www.cmschoice.org starting February 1st. These requests ARE processed in a first come, first served basis. The deadline for families to apply and receive a result before the 2024-2025 school year starts is July 15th (June 30th for early and middle college programs).
