National School Library Month - Karen Moyes talks about Berryhill Elementary’s Media Center

Karen Moyes, Berryhill Elementary’s Media Coordinator, gives us some insight in to the workings of many of our school’s Media Centers. It’s not just about books anymore!

Although student literacy is still a driving force behind the approaches of our district’s Media Coordinators, they also want to acclimate their students to the digital age we are firmly planted in and help each student discover what inspires and motivates them individually.

During the month of April, we will explore some of the many benefits and services provided by our school’s Media Centers, the minds behind some of these center’s initiatives, and little known facts that might surprise you!
