Students interested in applying to be a part of our CPEC community should apply through the CMS Magnet Lottery. All information about the lottery and magnet process can be found at www.cmschoice.org. We will accept applications for rising 9th and 10th graders for the 24-25 school year. Students should also complete an application to Central Piedmont Community College. Key Dates:

November 13: Last day to enroll in CMS for lottery applicants (only necessary if you are not currently enrolled in CMS)
November 27-December 29: Lottery application period. All applications are due by Dec 29. Applying early in the process does not impact the chance of acceptance, but make sure to submit before the deadline!
Mid January: families will receive notification letters from the CMS Magnet Office

Families who receive notification letters in January indicating acceptance to CPEC will receive further information from the school.
