Cell Phones and Electronic Devices

Once students enter a classroom, devices must be put away out of sight in a backpack or handbag at the back (or designated space) of the classroom. Students without backpacks will be given a ziploc bag to place phone in and teacher will bag in a secure place.  Electronic devices should not be seen or heard except during approved times. 

All items being used outside of these acceptable use times will follow consequences listed below:

Cell Phone Consequences

1st Incident- Warning and redirection (Ask the student to put the cell phone in backpack) Document in Educators Handbook

2nd Incident - Call for BMT/CSA for the student. BMT will contact the parent/ guardian and place the student in ISS for the remainder of the block.

3rd Incident - Referral to Admin.
