8th Grade Families: ACTION NEEDED
To the families of all Northwest School of the Arts 8th graders:
Parents, please complete the 8th Grade Continuation Survey: https://forms.gle/Ga2RtKHK5Fc8TR3P9 and read the VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE below regarding NWSA 8th grade Continuation.
All current 8th grade students who want to CONTINUE in their major for the 2024-2025 year must pass their 8th grade midterm in their major class by February 2.
Parents, please communicate this with your child, so they have realistic expectations and understand that a spot at NWSA is not guaranteed if they do not pass their 8th grade midterm in their major class. Students who do not pass or do not gain a seat to another school through the School Choice Lottery will be automatically reassigned to their neighborhood home school for the 2024-2025 year.

8th graders who want to CHANGE their major for the 2024-2025 year must pass a high school audition in the new major by February 2.
All 8th grade students who wish to change their major at NWSA for high school must pass a high school audition for the new major.
A spot at NWSA is not guaranteed if they do not pass the audition for the new major. Students who do not pass an audition will remain in their current major at NWSA for the 2024-2025 year.
