Important Message from Ms. Savage for January 20, 2023
Hello, Whitewater Middle School families. This is Principal Savage with an important message. The safety and security of our students and staff is a top priority. We are aware of reports that a weapon was found on campus yesterday. Those reports are unfounded. No weapon was found on our campus.
We are also aware of a social media threat being made to our school. Law enforcement has been contacted is investigating. At this time the threat does not seem to be credible.
Any student who makes a threat is in violation of the CMS Code of Student Conduct and will be disciplined, with the potential for criminal charges.
Please remind your children that all threats have serious consequences and encourage them if they see something to share with you or the school staff.
We encourage everyone to help keep our schools safe by reporting concerns immediately. Report anonymous tips to saysomething.net or use the Say Something App. Thank you for your partnership with Whitewater Middle School. -
