We are excited to share that CMS Family Engagement has successfully completed the Weekly Challenge to celebrate National Family Engagement Month! A heartfelt thank you to all the families who participated.

Throughout the month, families submitted beautiful photos highlighting their involvement in learning and the bonds they share. From cooking together, exploring science projects, enjoying the outdoors, and gearing up for a fantastic school day, we loved seeing how our families engage with one another. Your photos were a true reflection of the joy and importance of family engagement.

Family engagement is the shared responsibility of family members, schools, and communities. District and school leaders often consider family engagement a two-way process that begins in early childhood education, persists through high school, and occurs across multiple settings where children learn.
