Device Fee Structure

To receive a device, students and parents/guardians are required to sign the Student Technology Agreement Form. The fee structure is found in the chart below. Students and parents/guardians are responsible for the cost of repairing devices that have been damaged, lost, or stolen while in their possession.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education believes that participation in the 1:1 device program promotes positive benefits for students and families and does not want to place any undue burdens on parents/guardians who cannot afford to pay the associated fee for loss or damage.
